Photographer/Videographer Assistant Services Agreement
This Photographer/Videographer Assistant Services Agreement (the “Agreement”) is made as of the date of the last signature below, by and between Remberto Febles d/b/a MyR Photography & Videos (“Lead Photographer”) and Genesis Rosales (“Assistant”).
1) Event Details
Assistant is engaged to perform services for the following event:
Event Date: _Saturday, Oct 11, 2025
Event Time (Call/Wrap): Full day coverage
Location: Saturday, October 11
2) Scope of Work
Assistant will, as directed by the Lead Photographer:
Provide on-site support (carry/setup/breakdown of cameras, lenses, lighting, stands, audio, gimbal, batteries, media, and other accessories).
Maintain gear safety and cable management; adhere to venue rules.
Capture photos and/or video only as directed by Lead Photographer (second-shooter/B-cam duties as assigned).
Follow shot lists, technical settings, and client etiquette provided by Lead Photographer.
Dress in professional attire appropriate to the event.
Maintain punctuality, professionalism, and discretion; no personal promotion onsite.
Immediately return all gear and media provided in the same condition at the end of the assignment.
3) Compensation & Time
Flat Fee: $400.00 USD on-site within the time window above.
Extra hours (pre-approved only): $_135_ per hour, billed in 30-minute increments.
Payment Timing: Due upon completion of services and handover of all media and equipment.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the flat fee includes local travel and incidental expenses.
4) Equipment & Media Handover
Lead Photographer will provide any necessary equipment/media cards unless otherwise agreed.
Assistant will handle all gear with due care and report any issues immediately.
All captured media (photo/video) must be delivered to Lead Photographer immediately at wrap by handing over memory cards and/or performing an on-site transfer as directed.
Assistant shall not retain, copy, post, publish, or distribute any media from the assignment without written permission from Lead Photographer.
Assistant is responsible for loss or damage to gear caused by Assistant’s negligence or misuse.
5) Ownership; Work-for-Hire
All media created by Assistant under this Agreement constitutes “work made for hire” for Lead Photographer. To the extent any such media does not legally qualify as work-for-hire, Assistant hereby assigns all right, title, and interest (including copyright) in and to the media to Lead Photographer, and agrees to execute any documents reasonably necessary to effectuate such assignment.
6) Professional Conduct & Confidentiality
Assistant shall:
Follow all instructions of Lead Photographer.
Interact courteously with clients, guests, and vendors.
Keep all client and business information confidential.
Refrain from promoting their own services, distributing business cards, or soliciting the client.
Refrain from alcohol/drugs during the assignment; no guests; personal phone use kept minimal and off-camera.
7) Independent Contractor
Assistant is an independent contractor, not an employee. Assistant is solely responsible for all taxes, insurance, permits, and any required licenses. Nothing herein creates a partnership, joint venture, or employment relationship.
8) Cancellation; No-Show; Termination
If Assistant fails to appear or leaves early without authorization, or otherwise materially breaches this Agreement, no payment shall be due and Lead Photographer may seek reasonable replacement costs.
Lead Photographer may remove Assistant from the assignment for unprofessional conduct, safety violations, or breach of this Agreement.
9) Limitation of Liability
Except for gross negligence or willful misconduct, neither party shall be liable to the other for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. This does not limit Lead Photographer’s ability to recover for direct gear damage caused by Assistant’s negligence.
10) Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
11) Entire Agreement; Amendments
This Agreement is the entire understanding between the parties regarding this assignment and supersedes all prior discussions. Any amendments must be in writing and signed by both parties. If any provision is found unenforceable, it shall be modified only to the extent necessary to be enforceable, and the remainder shall remain in effect.
